Site SearchSince our inception in 1968 as Computer Components Corporation, we've evolved from a distributor of electronic components for industry giants like Texas Instruments into a leader in custom energy storage solutions. In the 1970s, we became one of the nation’s first authorized Panasonic battery modification centers, marking our entry into the energy storage market. By the late 90s, we rebranded as UPG, broadening our offerings to include sealed lead-acid batteries and other advanced chemistries, while also expanding our supply chain capabilities.
Over the past decade, we’ve further strengthened our portfolio by integrating Intelligent Technologies (iTECH) and Progressive Technologies (PTI) under the UPG umbrella. These innovative manufacturers provide custom-engineered energy storage and charging solutions, including advanced smart lithium-ion batteries and chargers for specialized applications.
